Dear Donor Partners!

Heart for Children is growing worldwide!

Recently Heart for Children (International) opened an office in Switzerland and is trusting for more funds worldwide to help vulnerable children in the world.

At this moment Heart for Children supports 8 family-homes in South Africa, namely: Kayamandi: Zanuvoyo; Vrijgrond: New Beginnings and New Horizons; Ocean View: St. Clairs House; Stellenbosch: Cloetesville House and in Jeffrey's Bay: House of Joy; House of Peace and House of Mercy. In Haiti there are another 8 family homes with 48 children. So in total we care for approximately 96 children. We are excited that a lot of progress has been made.

Below are the pictures of the houses in Jeffrey's Bay.In Jeffrey's Bay Heart for Children supports 3 family-homes and we are happy to announce that with the aid of Heart for Children (South Africa) we are able to extend that to four families.

That has been made possible because we have given the Mmakanyaune Project (north of Pretoria) back into the care of one of our partner organizations, SA Cares for Life. We had to make this decision due to various circumstances. We also must announce with regret that Edith had to resign as foster mother due to personal family circumstances. Fortunately we were able to find good foster parents and our 2 remaining children there have been adopted in a loving family: a win-win situation for any orphan!!

The Board of Heart for Children (South Africa) decided therefore that we should re-allocate our funds to a new (existing) foster family. We have chosen the family-home in Jeffrey's Bay, named House of Faith which is filled with some older children namely:

Because they are older they have additional and special needs, for which there are currently no funds. We are happy that we are able to help these 6 children obtain a better future. The funding by Heart for Children (South Africa) for this home will be R8000 per month.
